§ Enter CAM UnZip.
§ Click
"Create a ZIP File" (top left button).
§ If you look
above, you'll see "Save in:", and to the right, you can manipulate
what folder you want to save the file in. If you don't, you'll probably be
saving it in the "My Documents" folder. Regardless, remember what
folder you save your file. To the left of "File name", create a name
for your zip file, and click the "Save" button.
§ On the new
window that pops up, on the left toward the top, you'll see "Files to
Add:" The next button to the right and below, you'll see the "open
folder" button. If you hover your cursor over the folder, you'll see the
comment, "Select Individual Files to Add". Click this button.
§ Open the folder
that contains the file you want to zip, and select the file by clicking on the
file within the window. The file name will then be shown next to "File
name:". Click "Open".
§ Your file will
then show on the window below "Files to Add:".
§ When you're
ready to zip the file, there's a large button on the right that says
"Add". Click that button.
§ When you're
done, you'll see your file inserted in the large bottom window. Your file is
now zipped or "archived". You're done.
§ Enter CAM UnZip.
§ Click the "Open
a ZIP File" button.
§ Select the
folder where your zip file is located.
§ Click the
"*.zip" file, and click "Open".
§ Locate
"Extract to:". On the far right, you'll see the button
"..." . Click this button.
§ Select the
folder where you want the file extracted to. Click OK.
§ On the right,
there's a large "Extract" button; click it.
§ When you see
"1 (or any number) file was extracted", you're done; click
"Hide". You can close the CAM UnZip window.
